Omaha Grandpa

A limmerick for Poetry Friday, that I based upon this lovely "outsider" art by Maria Forde, whose grandpa was hit by a train in Iowa and got patched up in Omaha.

Omaha Grandpa
My grandpa got hit by a train
It took away half of his brain
But they fixed up his head
    With a new one instead,
So really he shouldn't complain.

Love it! Twisted humour is always a winner for me. Somehow, I just noticed this one...Apparently Grampa isn't the only one with half a brain.
