Cowboys from Queens

Today I joined Emily Benedek, P.G. Kain, and David Ezra Stein in a presentation at Fordham University's Annual Literary Tea. It was sitting room only and a great blast with much variety. All thanks to poet Bobbye Goldstein and Simon & Schuster.

Fellow neighbor from Queens, David Ezra Stein, had quite the buzz and awards last year with his book Leaves. And now he's got two new books out, The Nice Book, and Cowboy Ned & Andy . He explained to us how he got the idea for the book while on a plane home from Europe with his girlfriend. By the time he landed he had a new book but no more girlfriend. Love is fickle, art endures.
